Although the pigment of our skin may vary, you and I are wildly similar. Why do we let the color of our skin determine our bond? Over the duration of this exploration I knew I wanted to capture the raw beauty of humans of different ethnicities. The imperfect skin. The mystifying eyes. The captivating lips. The cheekbones, nose structure, hairline, face shape, eyebrows - all of the physical characteristics that make you, you. However, what if I give you half of me? How beautiful could that be? This series of portraits unveils the perfection of diversity with the realization that individually, we are beautiful - but, together, we are perfect. All photography by Hannah Tutera.
